Happy Sunday Ladies ~ I have a beautiful pink and black Stampin’ Up Accented Blooms Hello creation for you today.
Well I got word yesterday that I have electricity at my apartment. I also talked to my friend who went back yesterday and found the route to take to get through. They are telling everyone to not come back until Monday morning but I am thinking I will go back today to avoid the crowd. I know it will take me a little longer but my friends said no one was on 95 South. I know there are sections further down past where I need to exit 95 that are closed so I am hoping I can get down there without too much traffic. wish me luck!
I did not have time to make a video for my 10 Minute Creation today so I am sharing the next card on my second round of the Catalog Journey. I am hoping to make some videos this coming week so I can back on track. I also hope to be able to do a Facebook Live on Wednesday evening but need to come up with an idea. I will be thinking about that on my long drive home. The next stamp set on my second round is the Accented Blooms. I wanted to use just the stamp set and punch so I decided to make a card that used those along with some dsp and images to add interest. I began with a 4′ x 5 1/4″ panel of Whisper White. in the middle on the right I stamped the leaf spray and flowers from Jar of Love and Beautiful Bouquet using the Blushing Bride ink. I then chose 2 strips of Tropical Escape designer series paper to add to the bottom. I used some Basic Black baker’s twine and tied it around the middle of the panel. This panel was then added to a Blushing Bride card base. The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Whisper White using Blushing Bride and then I fussy cut around the edge close to the pink. A layer was created using Basic Black card stock and the Tailored Tag punch. The 2 shapes were adhered together then added to the card base using dimensionals. To finish off the card some Faceted Dots were added. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Accented Blooms Hello creation.
